Basic instructions for using your Remindex logbook effectively

It is suggested to use a pencil so you have the possibility to erase an entry when a change occurs. Use this book to write down everything you might need, soon or later, located in drawers, closets, a garage, a basement, a garden shed, a storage room, on shelves and so on. List any items that you may need soon or later. It is your inventory.
Locate the appropriate alphabetical letter for an entry (ie K for Keys) and write down the item name at the "What?" line and the location of that item at the "Where?" line. In each article entries, there is an extra line to add a note like: lended item, need repair, in use (if not in the usual storage location), for sale, order again, or any comments related to that item. To group some items together, like tools, use the customizable pages at the end of the alphabetical pages.

Additionnally, there are 2 sections at the end:

  • Content of storage boxes or containers

This can be used to mark all the content of a box with its location so that you know the content without having to open it. You have 8 lines to write the list of items in the container. If you need more, use the following section.

  • Borrowed and lended items

This section is for items that you have borrowed or lended to someone. When it is the case, check the appropriate box, put the name of the item, the name of the person concerned with details if necessary, the start date of the event, and finally, when the item is returned or delivered, indicate the end date to close the event.
